Also just a quick reminder that with a child in a bilingual
environment, the usual 6-months either-way is compounded by the 6-month
average delay associated with bilingualism. A two year old in a
bilingual environment who is combining two words is pretty on-track as
far as language development, and while ICD which persists in an English
monolingual child might be a red flag, I'd like to think that this was a
case of 'let's wait six months and see if he improves', given the
bilingual experience.
