I have come across this a few times. If all seems well, I advise parents to
ensure the child is looking at them when they model the correct production
and to date that seems to have worked in the 2 cases that I can think of off
the top of my head. If there are other speech difficulties, I use a variety
of minimal pairs, silly songs with a focus on initial word production or
functional phrases the child needs to use in the day. As always, the
recommendations are dependent on the overall picture.
