Janet
The 2 boys that I am thinking of were about 2 years of age and had no other
difficulties. The others presented as "no-one but me understands them" and
had a variety of speech production errors. From memory those children were
3-5 years of age and were often referred by daycare and kindergartens.
I, too, had heard that ICD is a red flag/dire predictor. I guess one could
speculate that if it isn't resolved early it can become habitual. Having
only dealt with a handful of children with this difficulty (I'm thinking
?5), and it doesn't appear that often from what I understand, one would then
have to question what the basis of the prediction is?
Good luck
Suzanne
