Description: The Cultural Resources Project Manager/Principal Investigator will be expected to manage an interdisciplinary, educated and experienced cultural resource staff committed to timely and knowledgeable investigation and reports. The Principal Investigator/Project Manager will lead and manage monitoring projects, surveys, NRHP eligibility evaluation projects, and data recovery projects in the Great Basin, Texas, and New Mexico area. Other responsibilities include technical writing, document review, and editing professional cultural resource management reports. The candidate will also be required to develop and manage budgets, interact with clients and develop business through marketing and proposal writing. Some travel will be required. Requirements: We are seeking a self-motivated, hard-working individual with a graduate degree (Ph.D. preferred) in anthropology or a related field and 15 year experience in cultural resource management in the Great Basin. The selected candidate will have experience managing budgets, a proven track record of completing archaeological research, supervisory experience, and a demonstrated ability to complete high quality cultural resource management reports.  This position requires a valid driver's license and compliance with HDR's vehicle policy.  This position may be subject to a pre-employment drug test and drug and alcohol testing during the course of your employment based upon HDR's Drug Testing and Drug Free Workplace Policy.
