Tetra Tech EC, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated junior- to mid-level Archaeologist/Cultural Resource Specialist for the Irvine, California office which is primarily focused on work in the renewable and traditional energy arenas (solar, wind, hydropower, and transmission lines). The candidate will have 2 to 7 years experience in environmental consulting as an Archaeologist/Cultural Resource Specialist with an emphasis in NEPA and CEQA projects. Project experience in the Western states required. The candidate will have experience in all aspects of cultural resources management projects including field research and database searches, data collection and analysis, regulatory agency and tribal consultations, writing technical reports and management/mitigation plans. Experience in planning, executing, and managing cultural resources studies and surveys for energy-related projects highly desired. Working knowledge of NHPA, NEPA, CEQA and SEPA, and other applicable laws a must. The candidate must be able to work on fast-paced projects and with multi-disciplined teams in order to meet client expectations. Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrated excellent technical writing/editing ability, good interpersonal communication and oral presentation skills, and exceptional attention to details, planning, organizing, and quality are essential. The candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in related discipline. A master's degree and working relationships with state and federal agencies a plus.
