You need to help her get a feel for where k occurs in which words so I do lots of listening for k words in a sentence and I make a k dictionary using pictures. Also have a variety of k and other words in a bag ,can she put k words in a pile and not k in another one .If you make deliberate errors on k words can she recognise it ,it sounds as though she is well on the way if she has already done some self correction ? Hope this helps.
