Archaeological TECHNICIAN Position Available IMMEDIATELY IN OUR Lancaster OFFICE
Pacific Legacy, Inc., a Cultural Resources Management firm, has an immediate opening in our Lancaster (California) office for a Full-time Archaeological Technician. This position primarily involves archaeological project support in the Lancaster office, with periodic field survey, excavation, monitoring and lab processing.
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Anthropology or related field, and one year of experience in the Great Basin and California. Candidate must reside in the Lancaster area or willing to re-locate to Lancaster. Salary range between $15.00-$16.50/hour. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
Job Duties and Qualifications:
- Fieldwork may include survey, monitoring and excavation occasionally;
- Archaeology project support may include assisting with various forms of paperwork and tracking projects and crew;
- Cataloging and lab processing experience a plus;
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, access and excel;
- Be detail oriented, multitask and work under pressure;
