Field Archeologists – Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, West Virginia, And Maryland
R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. has immediate openings for field archeologists for survey and evaluation projects in North Central Pennsylvania, Southern New York, Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, the Western Panhandle of West Virginia, and various parts of Maryland .  Project durations vary from 2 – 4 months; lodging and per diem provided.  These positions are salaried; salaries are competitive and commensurate with experience.  Based on merit and pending workload, full-time, permanent positions may be offered to successful applicants.  Such positions include paid holidays; health and dental insurance (available after 3 months continuous employment); annual leave; and 401(k) participation (after one year).  All applicants must have at minimum a B.A. or B.S. in Archeology or Anthropology.   In addition, satisfactory completion of an accredited field school is mandatory.  Candidates with Masters degrees also are encouraged to apply.  Experience with all Phases of archeological fieldwork (survey, testing, data recovery) preferred.   Work generally will be performed on a 10 day on, 4 day off schedule.  R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. maintains a Drug-Free Workplace, and frequently works on projects requiring security screening.  All candidates must pass a background check and drug testing.
