[ShovelBums.Org] Field Technicians-PaleoWest Archaeology (AZ, CO, WY Offices)

PaleoWest Archaeology--with offices in Phoenix, Denver, Flagstaff, and Casper--is seeking to fill upcoming positions for Field Technicians for archaeological inventory work at various project locations across Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming.   Per diem is provided for project locations more than 50 miles from PaleoWest offices; some remote projects will be operated out of field camps, while others will include lodging.

Bachelors degrees or better, field school completion, and prior experience are preferred for all positions.   Applicants must be very fit, resilient, and forward-thinking, as field conditions may be difficult and arduous.  Top performers will receive preference for future positions.

Please email interest, locations of availability, and resumes to work@paleowest.com.

PaleoWest discriminates on the basis of work performance, but never on sex, age, race, religion, or sexual orientation.   EOE

P.S.  Thank you to those who responded to our position openings in August.  Were sorry that that project was shelved temporarily, but please resubmit an email of interest if youre still available.

The most important aspect of this list is that it is for one purpose only.: announcing jobs/non paying volunteer postings in the international CRM field at all levels; Field Tech, Professors, SHPOs, etc...  Caveat Emptor though my friends.  Not all jobs pay the same, nor is their treatment of employees the same - as the companies are checking your references, you should also check them out - make sure they pay fair wages, treat their employees professionally, and do quality work.  If you have at least a BA you deserve fair remuneration, so ask for it, and in turn you provide your employer with excellent service.   You ARE a trained professional, NOT a "shovelbum"  - the name is in jest - act professional, expect to be treated like one.
