Project Manager/Archeologist

Successful candidates for this permanent, full-time position in our New Orleans, Louisiana office must possess an M.A. or Ph.D. in Anthropology/Archeology, have completed an accredited archeological field school, and have at least four years of applied experience.  Specializations in Gulf Coast/Southeastern prehistory or historic sites archeology desired.  Project Managers are responsible for design, direction, and prosecution of all phases of archeological projects including survey, evaluation, and mitigation.  They frequently serve as Principal Investigators.  This position requires superior field, writing, and interpersonal skills.  Computer skills, artifact analysis, experience with report and proposal writing, and formal Section 106 training are desirable.  Opportunity for advancement to significant management responsibilities is available for the right candidate.
