Project Archeologist
Ecological Communications Corporation (EComm) is seeking an experienced Project Archeologist to direct survey, testing and data recovery projects. This position will be a permanent full-time position with benefits (insurance, 401k, paid leave, etc) with a starting salary ranging from $39-44k per year depending on experience. Travel will be required approximately 25-40% of the time, with per diem and single room hotel accommodations provided on all out of town projects. Interested individuals must have an advanced degree in anthropology/archeology (or a closely related field) and at least three years of field experience. Preference will be given to persons who have directed excavation, analysis, and write-up on at least one (preferably more) testing or data recovery excavation.
EComm is a rapidly growing environmental consulting firm based in Austin, Texas. We serve federal, state, local and private clients throughout the greater southwest.
