ENTRIX, Inc., is seeking a permanent full-time supervisory archaeologist for our Basic qualifications: 1. Graduate degree in Anthropology, History, or a related discipline 2. A minimum of five years archaeological project experience, including supervisory, fieldwork, and report writing experience 3. Physical ability to conduct all types of archaeological fieldwork under sometimes adverse weather conditions, including ability to walk at least 8 miles per day in rugged terrain and to conduct excavations 4. Ability to efficiently and effectively supervise field crews 5. Ability to manage and successfully complete projects in both field and office contexts 6. Demonstrated ability to write high quality technical reports in a timely and efficient manner 7. Western U.S. experience 8. Residence in or willingness to relocate to the Desired qualifications: 1. Potential to be listed as a supervisory archaeologist on federal permits in 2. Background in a specialized area of analysis (e.g., lithic analysis, faunal analysis, human bones, etc.) or management expertise (e.g., lab management, tribal consultation, etc.) Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 1. Conducting and supervising fieldwork, including pedestrian inventory, site testing, block excavation, and construction monitoring 2. Coordinating and overseeing the preparation of technical reports, site forms, and other documentation for all phases of archaeological investigations 3. Laboratory work, including preparing artifacts for curation, processing samples, and analyzing artifacts 4. Completing projects in a timely and efficient manner while satisfying high quality standards 5. Communicating and coordinating with agency personnel and clients 6. General administrative work and logistical support, including preparing and reviewing budgets 7.
