Architectural historian sought in Midatlantic

Rue Environmental LLC is seeking an Architectural Historian for work in
Pennsylvania and surrounding states. Our office location is in State College,
PA, but relocation is not a necessity.
The work will include conducting historic site surveys, recordation of historic
resources according to relevant standards and guidelines, conducting archival
research, develop historic contexts, Determination of Effect, preparation of
HABS/HAER documentation and National Register of Historic Places evaluations and
nominations, photography of historic resources, and prepare professional reports
of investigations.

Minimum Qualifications:
• BA or MA (preferred) in architectural history, history, or closely- related
discipline
• Excellent written, oral and computer skills
• Ability to exercise professional discretion and judgment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to travel
• Minimum of 1 year experience recording and evaluating historic sites,
performing archival research, and conveying the results
