Field Directors and technicians sought for upcoming projects in PA

Rue Environmental LLC (RE) is looking for archaeological field technicians and field directors for survey and excavation work on various small to medium sized projects throughout Pennsylvania. The work will be intermittent and on a temporary basis on individual projects in the Fall of 2010. Technicians will be paid 13.50/hr and Field Directors will be paid 17.50-20.00/hr depending upon experience. Per Diem and lodging will be paid during fieldwork. RE is a new cultural resource firm based in State College, PA operated by David Rue, a veteran of over 30 years in archaeology. Projects will include gas pipeline, highways, bridges, municipal utilities, and other types.

Basic/Required Qualifications:

A Bachelors degree in Anthropology, Archaeology or related field.

At least 6 months experience conducting archaeological fieldwork in the Northeast.
