[ShovelBums.Org] Field Techs, southern, Michigan

CCRG's Jackson, Michigan office is accepting vitae from experienced field techs for a number of small projects in southern Michigan. These projects are mostly small, short term PH1 field surveys in southern Michigan lasting a few days at a time. We are especially interested in techs who live within commuting distance of our Jackson, Michigan office, and are willing to work without per diem or lodging.

Hourly rate for experienced field techs is $13.00 per hour. Minimum qualifications for any field work with CCRG is a field school. Preference will be given to those with CRM experience.

Please send vitae to Mary Jeakle either by mail, email or fax (see numbers below). If you have submitted a vitae to CCRG earlier this year and are now available please call or email Ms. Jeakle asap. Vitae should include the following information: length of field experience (in months or years), type of experience (i. e. Phase I, II, II), positions held (i. e. field tech, crew chief, etc), and special skills (i. e. sub-meter gps, total station, etc). Please indicate the date on which you are available to start work.

All applicants must include at least three references (with current phone numbers) able to judge your field work. Please make sure your contact and reference information is up-to-date. To avoid our spam filter, please include the word "VITA" in your message title.

The most important aspect of this list is that it is for one purpose only.: announcing jobs/non paying volunteer postings in the international CRM field at all levels; Field Tech, Professors, SHPO's, etc...  Caveat Emptor though my friends.  Not all jobs pay the same, nor is their treatment of employees the same - as the companies are checking your references, you should also check them out - make sure they pay fair wages, treat their employees professionally, and do quality work.  If you have at least a BA you deserve fair remuneration, so ask for it, and in turn you provide your employer with excellent service.   You ARE a trained professional, NOT a "shovelbum"  - the name is in jest - act professional, expect to be treated like one.
