(ACI), a Sarasota, Florida based cultural resource management firm established in 1976, is seeking an individual with a Masters in Anthropology/Archaeology and RPA certification to function as Field Director and Senior Crew Chief for projects throughout Florida. This is a full time, permanent position which entails the planning and organization of fast-paced field investigations, supervision of field crews, data collection and assistance with subsequent report preparation.
The successful candidate will have:
· 3 – 5 years of CRM experience in the Southeast; Florida field archaeology experience is highly desired
· Experience with GPS (Trimble Geo XT, preferred)
· Commitment to flexible assignments and work schedule, involving extensive travel and field work in Florida
· Ability to communicate and work with field crews, principal investigators, and the public
