[ShovelBums.Org] IMMEDIATE HIRE: Field Technicians Needed for a Multi-Site Data Recovery Project - Near Phoenix, AZ

Statistical Research, Inc. (SRI), a multidisciplinary cultural resources consulting company, seeks qualified archaeological technicians for an on-going multi-site data recovery project at Luke Air Force Base (Luke AFB) near Phoenix, Arizona. The qualified candidate should possess, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree in archaeology, anthropology, or related field, have completed an accredited archaeological field school, have past data recovery experience in the American Southwest, and possess a valid driver’s license. All applicants hired will need to complete paperwork for Luke AFB security clearance and authorization to work at the base. Pay will be commensurate with experience. Lodging and transportation to the job site from the hotel will be provided by SRI as appropriate and a food allowance of $71/day will be paid for each day worked if applicants are non-local to the Phoenix area. Fieldwork is underway and will last until approximately mid-December.
