Tetra Tech is actively seeking to fill an on-call Cultural Resource Monitor (archaeological field monitor) position for a southern California Solar Project near Blythe, California. This is an on-call hourly positions expected to begin January 3, 2011 and continue to April 2011 (or longer). The candidate will typically work up to and over 40 hours per week depending on construction schedule. Per diem will be provided. Pay rate will be based on individual qualifications and experience.

Cultural Resource Monitors shall have the following qualifications:

1. A BS or BA degree in anthropology, archeology, historic archeology or a related field and one year experience monitoring in California; or

2. An AS or AA degree in anthropology, archeology, historic archeology or a related field and four years experience monitoring in California; or

3. Enrollment in upper division classes pursuing a degree in the fields of anthropology, archeology, historic archeology or a related field and two years of monitoring experience in California.
