Allahabad Bank is one of the top graded bank in India.It is one of the old bank of India started from 24th April 1865.Allahabad Bank is going to recruit for clerk cadre (Single Window Operator) having 1000 post.

What will be age limitation?
Age must be in between 18 to 28 Years As on 01st January 2011.There will be age relaxation as per rule i.e. 3 year for OBC and 5 year for SC/ST/Ex-Service man

What will be tentative pay scale?
As per notification salary will be in the range of Rs. 7,200-19,300/- with other allowance such as DA, HRA etc.

Require educational qualification:
Twelfth or equivalent  with 60% for Open/OBC(55% for SC/STPC/ Ex-Servicemen Candidates) from reputed board
or Bachelor degree or equivalent from reputed university.Ability to Read,write and speak local language of state for which candidate apply.Compulsory computer knowledge preference will be given to those candidate having diploma in computer

Mode of selection
Written test with objective type question Test of Computer knowledge,Test of Reasoning Ability,Test of Numerical Ability,Test of English Language and Test of Clerical Aptitude.Merit list in examination will be call for interview

Application fee will be Rs 300/- for OBC/Open(Rs 50/- for / DisXS/ DXS/SC/ST/Physically Challenged)

All candidate have to apply for vacancy and mention state.As matter of fact maximum vacancies will be for MP state.Other important state after that are Maharashtra,Jharkhand,Bihar etc.

Important dates:
Time interval for online application will be 15th February to 15th March 2011.That is same for submission of payment challan and for candidate living at remote area.
Date of written test will be 08th May 2011
