Two Crew Chiefs/Field Supervisors (Full-time and Permanent)-ACR Consultants, Inc.

ACR is a medium-sized CRM firm with offices in Sheridan, WY and Westminster, CO.  We have sustained growth and increased market share over the past 12 years.  ACR provides services to a growing list of federal, state, and local agencies and private sector companies.  We are currently looking for two motivated crew chiefs to support our Sheridan Office.    

Description: The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising crews of 2-15 people on Class III inventories and data recovery projects in Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, North Dakota, and South Dakota.  Responsibilities also include the analysis of archaeological data and preparation of project reports for review by clients and various regulatory agencies.  The ideal candidate must be able to work both independently and within a team setting.

Requirements:  Applicants must possess and demonstrate the following :

·                        Masters degree in Anthropology or Archaeology,

·                        Already be on a Wyoming, Montana, or Colorado BLM permit, or possess enough field experience be listed on BLM permits within a short time,

·                        Experience with both prehistoric and historic archaeology,

·                        Write reports,

·                        Good verbal and written communication skills,

·                        Ability to use Trimble Geo series GPs units,

·                        Ability with Microsoft Word and Excel,

·                        Detail oriented and well organized, and

·                        Ability to walk in rugged environment in all kinds of weather for up to 10 hours a day.

Compensation: These positions are full-time and permanent.  Salary is commensurate with experience.  A benefit package, including vacation and retirement, is also provided.
