Steel Authority of India Limited Burdwan West Bengal is announcing recruitment for various post such as Operator-cum-Technician(Trainee) having 300 post(including OBC- 81,ST-22,SC-45,Open-152) and Attendant-cum-Technician(trainee) having 392 post(including OBC- 105,ST-29,SC-58,Open-200).

Educational qualification:
For  Operator-cum-Technician(Trainee)
Diploma in engineering( Metallurgy, Chemical, Ceramics, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronic, Instrumentalist etc.)
Age criteria :
Age should not be exceed than 28 years as on 01-02-2011

For Attendant-cum-Technician(trainee)
Tenth or equivalent and ITI.
Age condition :
Maximum age limitation will be 28 years as on 01-02-2011

Age relaxation :
Age relaxation for OBC will be 3 year and for SC/ST 5 year.

What will be pay scale?
For Operator-cum-Technician(Trainee) will be Rs 9160-13150/-
For Attendant-cum-Technician(trainee) will be Rs 8360-12080/-
There will be other benefits for both post such as Provident fund, Gratuity, LTC/LLTC, Leave encashment, Reumbersement of local travel, Production Incentives,medical facility etc.

Application fee including postage charge which is non refundable will be Rs 250 for OBC/Open(Rs 50 for SC/ST).

Mode of selection :
Through written test and interview.
