announces the following archeological employment opportunities:
Archeological Crew Chiefs – New Orleans, Louisiana
Successful candidates for Crew Chief (Archeologist I) positions in our New Orleans, Louisiana office must possess at minimum a B.A. or B.S. in Archeology or Anthropology and must have completed an accredited archeological field school. Candidates with the M.A. are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a minimum of two years of archeological field experience, substantial field supervisory experience, and excellent interpersonal skills. Superior field skills are essential; experience with GPS, and familiarity with both historic and prehistoric archeological sites and material culture are desirable. Although based in New Orleans, significant travel on field projects should be anticipated.
These are full time, salaried, professional positions with full benefits package (paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave; health, dental, and life insurance; and a liberal 401(k) plan). Salaries are competitive and commensurate with educational and professional experience. EOE/AA.
