Required education:
Tenth from reputed board and National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade. Preference will be given to those candidate who have higher qualification with above qualification. Applicant have National Apprenticeship Training Certificate test in the trade of Lineman Applicant must possess 2 years Apprenticeship in PSPCL/ PSTCL or erstwhile PSEB.
Desirable qualification:
Understanding of Punjabi language from tenth however their will be relaxation for those Sikh candidate November 1984 riots for them they have to successful complete in two year from date of start.

What will be age limitation?
Age must be in between 18 to 37 years as on 1st January 2011. There will be age relaxation 5 years for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC

Selection criteria: It is based on merit list as per marks obtained in National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman trade. There will be no weightage for higher qualification]

What will be tentative salary?
Tentative salary will be about  Rs 10000/-

What will be application amount?
It will be Rs 206/- (including Rs 6 as bank charge for everyone) for OBC and open category where as Rs 56/- for SC/ST
