Immediate need for a qualified PI under WVSHPO and KYSHPO guidelines to conduct historic resource surveys and assessments, including site inspections, research, photography, and evaluation under National Register of Historic Places, Kentucky Heritage Council, West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office guidelines/regulations and other criteria; prepare state-appropriate inventory forms; write Phase I and II cultural resource/archeological reports; write historic resources technical reports and context statements; write environmental impact report/statement sections relating to historic resources; Analyze potential impacts to historic resources; manage projects (including client communication). This is a contract/freelance position. Travel and/or field work will be required. Provide at least three references: One CRM professional, one client (non-CRM), and one additional professional reference.
