Project Archaeologist – Job 28168
Position Description
EBI Consulting has an immediate opening for a full-time, permanent Project Archaeologist position in the Phoenix metro area. Position in the fast-paced telecommunications industry requires candidates be self-motivated, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
The Project Archaeologist will be responsible for completing file reviews, conducting field surveys, authoring archaeology reports and prior ground disturbance determinations, and completing Federal Communications Commission Forms 620 and 621 as needed. In addition, the Archaeologist may be trained to complete Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and NEPA tasks. The ideal candidate will meet Secretary of the Interior qualifications and state PI requirements in AZ. Candidates should have demonstrated capability to write technical reports at all levels of complexity.
Requirements
Educational Requirements
Minimum requirements include a Master's degree in archaeology, anthropology or closely related field and at least 2 years of full-time professional experience or equivalent specialized training in archaeological research.
