Archaeological Field Technician, Syracuse, NY

TEC Inc, an international consulting company is seeking an Archaeological Field Technician for project based work located in Syracuse, NY beginning early June.

TEC is a full-service environmental engineering and consulting
company serving public and private sector clients worldwide. Our
geographic diversity (16 offices, including Germany and Hawaii)
allows us to support clients in all 50 states and overseas.
 
In the past 5 years, TEC's multidisciplinary professionals have
provided expertise and support in environmental compliance,
environmental training, environmental planning, waste management
services, and hazardous material and waste management services in all
50 states and 30 countries.
 
Our cultural resources staff has experience in more than 40 states
for a variety of federal and state agencies and private sector
clients, and our cultural resources practice is equal in
organizational standing with the company's other service practices.
Cultural resources services can be provided by TEC under more than 20
Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts for DoD, DHS, and
other federal and state agencies.
 
TEC Inc, an international consulting company is seeking an
Archaeological Field Technician for our Boise, ID office.
 
 
The ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
 
    * BA or BS in Anthropology or related field
    * Completion of a field school in Archaeology
    * Physical ability to complete up to 30 shovel tests per day and carry
      equipment and field supplies
    * Ability to complete paperwork, maps, photologs, and artifact inventories
    * Ability to use survey and GPS equipment preferred
