EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR FIELD ARCHAEOLOGISTS
Metcalf Archaeological Consultants, Inc.’s (MAC) Regional Office in Grand Junction, Colorado, is hiring field archaeologists for the current 2011 field season.
MAC is an employee-owned full-service cultural resource management firm that, over the past 30 years, has built a reputation as a highly professional and competitive consulting firm by working closely with clients and local, tribal, state, and federal agencies to ensure timely compliance with cultural resource and environmental regulations.
The Grand Junction office is currently hiring for several projects in Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. Prior survey and/or excavation experience is not required but is highly preferred for these positions. For more information please see the job posting on our website.
Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred, although it is not a prerequisite: historical archaeology, geoarchaeology, GIS, report writing, and familiarity with Great Basin, Rocky Mountain, or Great Plains archaeology.
Salaries and positions are commensurate with educational level and work experience.
