[ShovelBums.Org] Archaeological Field Technicians in Texas


POWER Engineers Inc., a diversified engineering and environmental consulting firm based in Idaho, is seeking to build a team of qualified archeological technicians for current and future projects in Texas and adjoining states. POWER is currently seeking Archeological Field Technicians with experience and qualifications conducting cultural resource surveys under the direction of supervising senior cultural resource management staff. Employment for fieldwork assignments will be temporary and may require extended stays of 2 to 10 days near project areas. Lodging and meal expenses will be reimbursed or provided on a per-diem basis according to applicable contract requirements.  Ability to work in hot environments is strongly preferred.
Pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience, and will begin at $15.00 per hour. 
Education requirements:
·         Degree in Archaeology/Anthropology or a closely related field
·         Previous field survey experience required (preference given to regional experience)
