Statistical Research, Inc. (SRI), a multidisciplinary cultural resources consulting firm, has 1 - 2 full-time positions available immediately for archaeological Crew Chiefs for upcoming field projects in southern California and Nevada. Qualified candidates should possess, at minimum, a bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field and have completed an accredited archaeological field school. Candidates must also have a minimum of 2 years of field experience working on monitoring, survey, testing, and data recovery projects and be physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks in adverse environmental conditions (e.g. extreme heat). Candidates should also have good organizational skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and execute new tasks. Prior Mojave Desert or southern Nevada field experience will be viewed favorably, as will demonstrated past field experience working with Trimble XT global positioning system (GPS) receivers.

Pay is commensurate with experience. Food allowance is offered at a rate of $35.00 per day, and the company will provide lodging.
