Senior Archaeologist (Midwestern U.S.)
Blanton & Associates, Inc., a multidisciplinary consulting firm located in Austin, Texas, is recruiting a qualified principal investigator to oversee projects in Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. This full-time, permanent position will entail project management, preparation of technical reports, and coordination with state, and federal agencies.
Main Responsibilities:
•Complete technical reports on time in a fast paced environment
•Manage complex cultural resources investigations
•Develop research designs
•Prepare proposals
Other Skills:
•Knowledge of GIS software and the use of GPS
Minimum Requirements:
The applicant must have an advanced degree in anthropology/archaeology, and be fully qualified as a Principal Investigator in Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. The applicant must also be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests.
Wages will be commensurate with experience.
