POSITION

We are looking for Junior to Intermediate Archaeologist to join our new office in Fort St. John, B.C.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will work with members of the Cultural Resource Management Group from across B.C., assisting the design, implementation and execution of projects in the oil & gas, mining and forestry, and land development sectors. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist the development of the Archaeology group in the Fort St. John Office, as well as to gain valuable and diverse work experience in BC's northern region.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
• An undergraduate degree in Archaeology or Anthropology;
• Preference will be given to candidates with BC Interior Field Director status;
• Experience working with First Nations;
• Must be able and willing to perform field work and study in a variety of weather conditions;
• Proven oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to contribute to a team work environment as well as to work independently;
• Solid aptitude in MS Office.
