[ShovelBums.Org] Immediate Opening for Southern California Archaeological Monitor


Location: Desert Center, California

ECORP Consulting, Inc. has immediate openings for full-time, hourly archaeological field technicians for an ongoing monitoring project near Desert Center, California.

Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in archaeology, anthropology, or a related field and have completed an accredited archaeological field school. Candidates must be physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks in extreme heat for extended periods of time. Preference will be given to candidates that possess archaeological monitoring and Mojave Desert archaeological experience.

Candidates must also pass a 10-point drug test to gain access to the project area.

Pay rate will be determined by experience. Per Diem is $40.00 per day, and single-occupancy lodging is provided during the work week.
