AMEC Environment & Infrastructure is currently seeking to fill a full-time Archaeologist position in Bothell, Washington. 
 
Accountabilities
·         Management of field investigations and field staff.
·         Preparation of reports and proposals
·         Client development and marketing.

Knowledge
A Graduate degree in anthropology or related field is required. At least 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in providing cultural resources services and at least 5 years of managing significant cultural resources consulting programs and staff is required. Applicant must have a working knowledge of prehistoric and/or historical archaeology and the built environment in Washington State in particular and the Pacific Northwest in general, and experience with state and federal cultural resources laws and regulations, especially the National Historic Preservation Act and Governor's Executive Order 05-05. Demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with reviewing agencies, and excellent oral, written and analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast–paced, dynamic consulting environment are required. Project assignments may require travel throughout Washington and potentially throughout the U.S.
 
·         M.S. or M.A. in Anthropology/Archaeology.
·         Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cultural Resource Management work.
Strong understanding of federal, state and local environmental regulations including NEPA, SEPA, Section 106 of the NHPA, and Executive Order 05-05.
·         Specialization in remote sensing, GIS, lithics, historic architecture, or historic material culture
Knowledge and understanding of the regional cultural histories within the Pacific Northwest
·         Project management experience
·         Strong marketing abilities
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·         Attention to detail
·         Ability to work independently
·         Willing to travel
