Field Survey Crew needed for pedestrian survey and GPS mapping of CCC-era fish hatchery at Monument Lake near Trinidad, Colorado. Fieldwork is scheduled for the week of August 26, 2012. Three days in the field is expected.
Pay is $16/hour plus $40/day for meals and expenses. Lodging is included. Individuals are responsible for transportation to and from the site; however, a carpool from the Boulder/Denver Metro area is possible.
Applicants must be familiar with survey protocol, recording site and structure locations with hand-held GPS units,and be able to create hand-drawn maps from the data points. Individual features and/or structures will need to be mapped by hand - good drafting and mapping skills are a must!
