Subject: Seeking Four Experienced Field Technicians for a Phase I Assessment in Southeast Mississippi
Perennial Environmental is actively seeking experienced field technicians for an upcoming project in southeast Mississippi. The project is scheduled to begin on September 24th and fieldwork is expected to run through late-October.
Field Technicians: should have a B.A. in anthropology, history, or closely related field and a minimum of three months practical experience in professional archaeology. Previous work in Mississippi and a familiarity with southeastern archaeology is preferred, but not required.
All candidates must be capable of working in remote areas and adverse terrain. Must have a high tolerance for heat and the mental and physical capacity to endure long hours in the field.
Hourly compensation will range from $14-15/hr contingent on experience and job position. Long days are expected and overtime will be paid at 1.5 hourly rates.
The work schedule will be Monday through Saturday with seven days/week hotel accommodations and six days/week per diem at $35/day.
Mileage will be paid at the beginning and end of the project. Individuals living in or near the project area will be given precedence. Work days do not end at the job site; if you are traveling to/from the project area in a company vehicle you are on company time.
Perennial offers the potential for professional growth with the company. Additional staffing will be needed for projects beginning mid-October. Driven individuals with well-developed skills and an understanding of team dynamics will be given the opportunity for advancement.
Qualified applicants should submit a cover letter and resume to Human Resources at HR@perennialenv.com

The most important aspect of this list is that it is for one purpose only.: announcing jobs/non paying volunteer postings in the international CRM field at all levels; Field Tech, Professors, SHPO's, etc... Caveat Emptor though my friends. Not all jobs pay the same, nor is their treatment of employees the same - as the companies are checking your references, you should also check them out - make sure they pay fair wages, treat their employees professionally, and do quality work. If you have at least a BA you deserve fair remuneration, so ask for it, and in turn you provide your employer with excellent service. You ARE a trained professional, NOT a "shovelbum" - the name is in jest - act professional, expect to be treated like one.
