[ShovelBums.Org] Seasonal Crew Chiefs Needed

Kadrmas, Lee and Jackson, located in Bismarck, North Dakota, is looking for a couple of experienced crew chiefs to add to our archaeology staff. We are a fast-paced, active group with projects ranging from oil and gas to telecommunications to wind farms. Our projects are generally based in North and South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, and Wyoming.

While the majority of our current workload is survey, we have a number of testing and mitigation projects that are scheduled for the fall. We are currently advertising for seasonal help, but we anticipate that a number of the positions will become permanent, with report writing opportunities over the winter season.

Requirements:
Master's Degree in Anthropology or Archaeology (history will be considered if you also have applicable experience)
Minimum of one year experience leading small field crews
Ability to work independently
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of ArcMap is a plus
Experience on the Northern Plains is not required but is strongly desired

Kadrmas, Lee and Jackson offers competative wages, 401k, and health insurance through our cafeteria plan.

Per diem and single-occupancy hotels paid during fieldwork

Please email resumes in word or pdf format to: Jennifer.harty@kljeng.com

No phone calls please

The most important aspect of this list is that it is for one purpose only.: announcing jobs/non paying volunteer postings in the international CRM field at all levels; Field Tech, Professors, SHPO's, etc...  Caveat Emptor though my friends.  Not all jobs pay the same, nor is their treatment of employees the same - as the companies are checking your references, you should also check them out - make sure they pay fair wages, treat their employees professionally, and do quality work.  If you have at least a BA you deserve fair remuneration, so ask for it, and in turn you provide your employer with excellent service.   You ARE a trained professional, NOT a "shovelbum"  - the name is in jest - act professional, expect to be treated like one.
