WCRM EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES- Immediate Positions Available in Arizona.

Western Cultural Resource Management, Inc. (WCRM) is a cultural resource management firm with offices in Colorado (Boulder), Nevada (Reno), New Mexico (Farmington), and Arizona (Scottsdale).  We are currently seeking to fill nine positions for an excavation at historic Fort Whipple in Prescott, Arizona.  The project is scheduled to begin on August 10, 2010, and will last at least through the end of the month.  Crew wages are $13.00 to $15.00 per hour depending on experience, and crew chief positions at a higher wage are also available. 

No per diem is available for this project so we are looking for residents of the greater Prescott area or those that can commute to the project area daily to fill these positions (no drive time or mileage will be paid).  The crew will work eight hour days and crew chiefs may be asked to work 10 hour days.  Each work session will be 10 days long, with four days off in between sessions. 

Expertise in the identification and analysis of historic era artifacts is strongly preferred, and all applicants need to have at least a BA in anthropology.  The project consists of excavating in a late 19^th century to mid 20^th century landfill, with some of the deposits likely being related to medical facilities.  If hazardous materials are encountered, employees will be properly advised and outfitted with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).  All personnel working in the field lab will be required to wear a half-mask respirator.
