[ShovelBums.Org] Hartgen Hiring Field Techs for Fall Mid- and Upper Hudson Projects

Hartgen Archeological Associates, Inc. will be hiring field technicians
for various projects near Albany, New York from mid-September until
January. Most projects will require daily commutes without per diem, so
please do not apply if you cannot commute daily to projects in the
Hudson Valley between Saugerties and Whitehall at the southern end of
Lake Champlain. Full-time availability is preferred, but applicants
with part-time availability will be considered. The hourly rate will
typically be $12.00 for applicants with a related degree and field
experience, which are preferred but not necessarily essential. Benefits
and opportunities for advancement are available. If you are interested,
please email a resume to ckilkenny@hartgen.com and include a statement
of your commuting range and your availability (full time or indicate
days of availability for part-time work) in the text of your email. If
you have submitted a resume previously, please resubmit it with an
updated statement of availability and commuting range. Thank you.

The most important aspect of this list is that it is for one purpose only.: announcing jobs/non paying volunteer postings in the international CRM field at all levels; Field Tech, Professors, SHPOs, etc...  Caveat Emptor though my friends.  Not all jobs pay the same, nor is their treatment of employees the same - as the companies are checking your references, you should also check them out - make sure they pay fair wages, treat their employees professionally, and do quality work.  If you have at least a BA you deserve fair remuneration, so ask for it, and in turn you provide your employer with excellent service.   You ARE a trained professional, NOT a "shovelbum"  - the name is in jest - act professional, expect to be treated like one.
