[ShovelBums.Org] SEARCH Senior Project Manager(s) -- VA- and FL-based

 

Southeastern Archaeological Research, Inc. (SEARCH) is seeking two Senior Project Managers for immediate hire.  One position will be based out of the SEARCH office in Williamsburg, Virginia, and the other will be based in Florida at SEARCH’s Jacksonville, Orlando, Pensacola, or Newberry (Gainesville) office locations. 

 

Each of the two positions will be responsible for:

 

-- Managing major projects or multiple projects under a single IDIQ contract

-- Project milestone, deliverable, budget, and invoice tracking

-- Project team selection and leadership  

-- Budget, schedule, research design development and adherence

-- Client management

-- Quality control

-- Proposal writing and negotiations

-- Marketing and business development

-- Maintaining communication with Principals, Principal Investigators, and Project staff

-- Providing recommendations, policies, and standard operating procedures for company growth and improvement        

 

Applicants should have:

 

-- Ph.D. or M.A. in Anthropology or a related field

-- Minimum of 10 years experience at the Senior level

-- Major projects leadership experience

-- Command of Federal and DoD cultural resources law, regulations, and recommended practices

-- Command of the CRM industry at the international, national, and regional level

-- Established international, national, or regional network or subcontractors, teaming partners, and researchers

-- Expertise in a single market sector (energy, DoD, transportation, etc.) and a strong working knowledge of several

-- Strong background developing creative solutions, methods, and deliverables

-- Team leadership, motivation, and guidance skill set

-- Superior technical writing and editing ability

-- Fluency in MS Office software suite

-- Familiarity with DoD installation protocol

-- Proven history of ensuring a safe working environment for themselves and others
