Project Archaeologist with demonstrated research, writing, and management experience needed to direct field research and produce quality reports for both federal and commercial clients. Prior archaeological experience in the northern Great Basin and Plateau regions and surrounding areas is necessary. Candidate must be permittable as a Field Director for BLM-related projects in Nevada, Utah, and Idaho. Lithic analytical experience and prior experience with Paleoindian assemblages is highly desirable. Linear right-of-way experience and prior experience with NEPA documentation is a plus.
Must be willing to travel and be physically capable of conducting field work. Demonstrated experience in directing field crews, producing quality reports, managing complex projects, and knowledge of compliance regulations is essential.
Candidates must have an M.A. degree in Anthropology; 3-4 years of experience; and one (1)year of experience as a Project Archaeologist.
Compensation package will be commensurate with experience.
