[ShovelBums.Org] Archaeologist - Eastern Washington State

 

Antithesis Research, a Native American Non-Profit Organization specializing in environmental consultation has an immediate opening for an archaeologist in the Pacific Northwest. Position requires strong GIS/GPS knowledge. Please be ready to work closely with minority communities, urban-regional planners, biologists, botanists, architects, engineers, economists, and sociologists.


Applicants must have at a minimum a masters degree in archaeology, verifiable GIS/GPS skill in the field and in report writing. Applicant archaeological experience in the Pacific Northwest, Great Basin, or South West preferred, other regions considered. Prior experience with total stations helpful, or ability and willingness to train for total station use.


This is a non-seasonal position. Base salary offering is $41,900 a year, plus 18 PTO/Vacation days ($3,600), plus 11 paid holidays ($2,200), [Total Wage: $47,700 a year approx], in addition to MED/Dental/Vision/Life. We are looking for a permanent addition to the team in a supervisory role; the salary offered here is a base rate and is not a limiting ceiling. Hard working and motivated individuals will be able to increase this salary within months not years.
