R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. anticipates multiple openings for field archeologists in our New Orleans office. These positions also will require travel as project needs dictate; for projects more than 60 miles from our New Orleans office, per diem is provided. These positions are salaried; salaries are competitive and commensurate with experience. Benefits include but are not limited to paid holidays; health and dental insurance (available after 3 months continuous employment); annual leave; and 401(k) participation (after one year). All applicants must have at minimum a B.A. or B.S. in Archeology or Anthropology. In addition, satisfactory completion of an accredited field school is mandatory. Candidates with Masters degrees also are encouraged to apply. Experience with all Phases of archeological fieldwork (survey, testing, data recovery) preferred. Work may be performed on a 10 day on, 4 day off schedule. R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. maintains a Drug-Free Workplace, and frequently works on projects requiring security screening.
