Laboratory Specialist (Lithic Artifact Analyst)
R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Specialist in our New Orleans office. This job will entail assisting the Laboratory Supervisor with the daily operations in the lab and with lithic artifact analyses.
Applicants must possess an M.A. or equivalent graduate-level degree in archaeology/anthropology, or a B.A. or B.S. degree in archaeology/anthropology and two or more years of full-time laboratory experience. Applicants that have completed an accredited field school may occasionally assist with fieldwork local to the New Orleans area.
Applicants should show demonstrated proficiency in the analyses of lithic artifacts through a record of contributions to the scholarly literature and/or to cultural resource management reports.

This is a full-time, salaried, position with full benefits that is estimated to last 9 to 12 months. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. EOE/AA. R.
