NewFields Environmental Planning and Compliance is seeking 2-4 field technicians and 1 crew chief for two projects in southern Nevada. One project involves reevaluation of 66 mining sites, the other is survey of 2400 acres. Pay will range from $15 to $20 per hour depending on experience and housing and meals will be paid for individuals located outside the Las Vegas area. Qualified applicants for the mines recording project should have a bachelors degree in Anthropology or a related discipline and experience recording complex mining sites. For the pedestrian survey, qualified applicants should have a bachelors degree in Anthropology or a related discipline and at least a field school. Crew chief applicants should have experience supervising others. Individuals should be prepared to work in the hot desert carrying field gear and water.
