[ShovelBums.Org] GIS/archaeologist position - Ethnoscience

 

Ethnoscience, Inc., has an immediate opening for a permanent, full-time
GIS/archaeologist position. This is an in-office position with minimal field
work. GIS duties will include geo-referencing, digitizing field maps,
using GPS data and imaging to produce location maps, and
organizing/maintaining the Geodatabase. 

Successful applicants must have at minimum a B.A. or B.S. with GIS
experience and a background in archaeology. Requirements also include
experience in ArcView 9.2 or higher and All Topos. Strong skills in GIS
data editing and map production and the ability to handle multiple
projects and deadlines are important.

The position is salaried; commensurate with experience. The position
includes health and dental insurance (available after 6 months
continuous employment); 401(k) participation and paid vacation (after
one year); and selected paid holidays. Ethnoscience, Inc., is an equal
