Summit Envirosolutions, Inc. has immediate permanent and seasonal openings for crew chiefs on survey and excavation projects in northern Nevada. Our fieldwork schedule requires 10 days (9 nights) away from home, with a 4-day break between sessions. Per diem will be provided. Projects are in remote and often rugged terrain and may be physically demanding.
Preference will be given to candidates that meet the following requirements:
· Possess at least a BA in anthropology or related field
· Be permitted or be able to be permitted with the Nevada BLM as a crew chief; this requires at least 4 months of Great Basin experience
· Good communication and demonstrated writing skills
· Able to hike 6 to 8 miles per day while carrying equipment and personal gear
