[ShovelBums.Org] Senior Archaeologist/Field Director Salt Lake City

 

EPG, Inc. is seeking a senior archaeologist/field director for our Salt
Lake City office. Applicants for this position should possess the
following:

*A master's degree or PhD in anthropology with a specialty in
archaeology or related subfield or commensurate experience

*8+ years of field experience (both survey and excavation, preferably in
consulting) within the Intermountain West Region (Utah, Idaho, Wyoming,
Montana, Nevada, Colorado)

*Already permitted or ability to be permitted (BLM, USFS, State, etc.)
in Utah, with the ability to be permitted in other surrounding states a
plus

*Experience working with state and federal agencies

*Ability to direct a large field crew

*Ability to complete all phases of archaeological projects, including
Class I and Class III work, as well as data recovery with minimal
supervision

*Ability to review documents for technical accuracy and completeness.

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
