- Position duration is May through September.
- Experience in ND, SD, MT, or WY (Great Plains Region) preferred
- Bachelors Degree in Anthropology or Archaeology preferred
Job Description
The Archaeologist I functions as a field technician, with the possibility for advancement as the individual gains knowledge and responsibility. Responsibilities include conducting archaeological fieldwork-including survey, testing, and mitigation; site recordation; report writing; other duties as assigned. Travel is an essential aspect of this position, with the expectation of extended time in the field and very little office time .
· Work will be focused primarily in North Dakota.
· An hourly rate plus per diem and lodging when on a job site.
· Work will be based out of Bismarck. Per diem and lodging will not be provided when nights are spent in Bismarck.
