Montgomery Archaeological Consultants (MOAC), a cultural resource consulting firm based in Moab, Utah, is seeking to immediately hire several experienced excavators for fieldwork in Utah. These are full-time (40 hrs or more week) positions that will last until mid summer 2012. Minimum requirements include a B.A. or B.S. in Anthropology or Archaeology. Primary responsibilities include the excavation of prehistoric structures and features which would involve standard excavation techniques, identification and removal of prehistoric cultural remains, profiling, photography, and labeling cultural materials. Candidates residing in Utah or adjacent states will be given preference. Hired excavators may be offered a more permanent position with our firm. Salary is commensurate with educational level and work experience. Single-occupancy housing and perdiem will be provided.
