Paleontology and Archaeology Field Technician Positions Available
Paleo Solutions is currently seeking full-time and part-time Paleontology and Archaeology Field Technicians. We are a small woman owned firm located in LA County currently looking to expand our staff. We are accepting resumes from qualified individuals who have field experience in central and southern California and who are working towards or have a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Paleontology, Geology, and other related fields (haven taken a soils or stratigraphy course is a plus) for the Paleontology positions, or a Bachelor's or Master's in Anthropology/Archaeology. Pay will be based on the applicant's experience and qualifications. WE ARE ONLY LOOKING FOR LOCAL TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, Specifically greater LA.
If you have Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and Kern County experience this is also a bonus. We have on-going projects in all areas.
The technician must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and their own mode of transportation (4WD a plus!). Must be physically fit to perform long hours of field monitoring, salvaging and/or surveying. Most fieldwork will be conducted in and around southern and eastern California. When required to be away from our office we will pay for hotel and reimburse for food receipts.
